Kyrr Vase II - Acoustic Panel

The acoustic panel actually softened the echo in our kitchen, which I didn't expect from something that looks like art. The design by Kristin Sigurdardottir fits right in above the dining table.

I hung this above the breakfast bar mostly for the look, and the print is genuinely lovely in person. The felt backing actually softened the clatter of plates and pans in the room. Took two minutes to mount, too.

Our open kitchen echoes like crazy, but this panel actually tamed the worst of it—the difference is noticeable when I'm on calls at the counter. It looks like a piece of art on the wall, which is exactly what I wanted instead of clunky foam.
