Woven Check - Copper is featured within Paper Collective's first woven art collection, designed by A+N Studio. Referencing the studio's intricate knowledge of jacquard weaving techniques and produced in collaboration with Dutch gallery WEEEF, the composition plays with texture and three dimensionality through copper and brown tones. Each artwork is created in a limited edition of 200 pieces, hand numbered and mounted on a white backing board. Please note the woven artwork is A5 when mounted on an A4 backing board, and 37.5x50cm when mounted on a 50x70cm backing board. Produced from recycled polyester (STeP), OEKO-TEX® certified production partner. Made in the Netherlands. The Woven Collection is available exclusively from Paper Collective. Add a frame here. The metallic copper thread shifts from bright to almost bronze depending on the light, which I wasn't expecting from a woven piece. Hung it above the sofa and it reads like a small textile sculpture rather than a print. Genuinely happy with how it warms up the wall.

The jacquard weave gives the copper a subtle texture you only notice up close, which makes it feel way more considered than a standard print. Hung it above the sofa and the warm metallic tone pulls the whole corner together.

The copper tone looks warmer in person than on my screen, which I actually like. But the weave is looser than I expected for a wall piece, and up close the texture reads a bit rougher than the photos suggest.
