The wavy paper curves actually soften the echo when I'm cooking, which I didn't expect from something this pretty. It's lightweight enough that I just used two small nails, and the muted color looks great against my white tiles.
I hung this in my kitchen to cut down on echo, and the difference is honestly noticeable. The curved shapes are subtle in a good way, and it's nice having something on the wall that actually does a job.
The curves look way more like art than a functional panel, which is exactly what I wanted in my kitchen. Since hanging it near the dining table, the echo has noticeably dropped and the room doesn't sound so hollow anymore.
