Fiberium 04 is a collaborative photographic art print between textile artist Lærke Lillelund and photographer Maya Matsuur, a created for the artist's solo exhibition at renowned Copenhagen design galllery Officinet. Lillelund's merticulously hand-crafted textile work explores systems in nature through repititious forms that are both simple yet complex. Alongside Matsuura, this fine art print collection obscures the textile forms behind a frosted mask, creating abstraction and an otherworldliness to the works that is tactile and intimate. Bought this after seeing the exhibition in Copenhagen and the paper quality really holds up the photographic detail. Only reason it's not five stars is the limited edition sizing made framing a bit of a hassle. Still, it's the nicest print on my wall.
