The recycled PET backing actually does something — the echo in our kitchen dropped noticeably once this was on the wall above the table. The textile print looks like a proper art piece up close, not a printed panel.
I put this up in my kitchen mostly for the looks, but it genuinely dulls the echo off the tile floor. The textile print has a nice matte texture and the recycled PET core makes it feel solid without being heavy.
Bought this for our echoey kitchen and the difference is noticeable — conversations don't bounce off the walls anymore. The textile print looks sharper in person than in the photos, though I wish it came in one more size.
