Close Contact 04 - Acoustic Panel

It’s quieted the kitchen echo more than I expected, and the design genuinely makes the wall feel like part of the room instead of an afterthought. The panel sits flush and didn’t take any real effort to mount.

The texture is surprisingly nice up close—it feels like soft felt but looks like a modern art piece from across the room. I hung it in our kitchen nook and the echo from the tile floors is noticeably gone. It's pricey, but it genuinely does double duty as decor and sound control.

The way this panel doubles as wall art while taming the echo in our open-plan kitchen is honestly the best of both worlds. The matte surface and soft contours make it look like a sculptural piece rather than a functional dampener, and conversations at the dining table finally feel clearer.
