The hand-shaped ridges on this piece are so tactile that guests keep reaching out to touch it, and I love how the glaze shifts from matte to slightly glossy in the light. It's heavier than I expected, so I used a proper wall anchor, but it's worth the extra effort.
The matte glaze catches light differently depending on the time of day, which I didn't expect from a wall piece. It's lighter than it looks in photos, so hanging it took a bit of fiddling. Still, it's the first thing guests ask about.
The ceramic piece has a nice handmade weight to it, and the tongue-in-cheek shape reads well from across the room. That said, the hanging hardware on the back felt a bit flimsy for something this heavy, so I swapped it out.
