I hung this in my kitchen mostly for the look, but the recycled PET backing actually softened the echo off the tile floor way more than I expected. The textile surface has a nice matte finish that doesn't glare under the pendant lights.
The print quality on the textile is sharp, and the geometric pattern hides a bit of the hallway echo. Only gripe is that the recycled PET core is firmer than I expected, so mounting it took two of us. Still, it looks way more expensive than it cost.
I hung this above the kitchen table mostly for the print, but it really does soften the echo when the room gets loud. The recycled PET panel has a slight thickness to it that makes it feel substantial rather than flimsy. Wish the textile surface were a touch easier to dust, but I'd buy it again.
