I hung this above the sink where the dishwasher hums, and the clatter of plates doesn't bounce around nearly as much. It looks like a proper art print, so nobody guesses it's doing acoustic work.
Our kitchen has hard floors and bare walls, so every conversation used to bounce around the room. After mounting this on the wall behind the table, the clatter of plates and voices is noticeably calmer, and honestly it looks like a proper art piece rather than a sound treatment.
The felt texture really softens the echo in our open kitchen, and it looks more like a framed art piece than a functional panel. I was worried it would clash with the cabinets but the muted tone blends in nicely.
