The wave pattern on this panel is even more striking in person, and it’s completely killed the clatter of pots and pans bouncing off the tile. My kitchen finally feels calm, and guests always ask where the art piece came from before realizing it’s doing double duty.
The kitchen felt way too echoey before I hung this up, but now it's noticeably calmer when I'm cooking. The ovata linework pattern is seriously pretty to look at while I'm waiting for water to boil, and it does exactly what it says on the tin for sound absorption.
The wave texture looks sharp in our kitchen and really does cut down on the echo when we're all talking at once. I do wish the mounting was a bit more hidden, but once it's up, it's a solid piece.
