Kudottu Ovaali - Kupari on osa Paper Collecitven ensimmäistä kudottujen taideteosten kokoelmaa, jonka on suunnitellut A+N Studio. Viitaten studion syvälliseen tietämykseen jacquard-kudontatekniikoista ja yhteistyössä hollantilaisen WEEEF-gallerian kanssa tuotettuna, sommitelma leikittelee tekstuurilla ja kolmiulotteisuudella kuparin ja ruskean sävyin. The jacquard weave gives this way more texture than I expected from a flat art print, and the copper tone catches light differently depending on the time of day. It's the first thing guests comment on when they walk into my hallway.

I hung this above our dining bench and the raised texture catches the afternoon light in a way a flat print never would. You can tell the jacquard weaving was done with real care, the oval shape stays crisp even up close.

The jacquard weave has a really nice texture up close, way more depth than a flat print would. Only thing is it arrived rolled a bit tight, so I had to lay it flat under some books for a day before hanging.
