Wasn't sure an acoustic panel would actually make a difference in an open kitchen, but the echo off the tile is noticeably softer now. The geometric print also gives the blank wall some life. Easy to hang, and it looks more like art than a soundproofing fix.
I hung this above my kitchen counter mostly for the looks, but it actually deadens the echo when the dishwasher and range hood are both running. The print has a nice matte depth up close, not flat like a cheap poster.
The texture of this panel is what sold me—it feels like a piece of art, not just soundproofing, and it actually calms the echo when I’m cooking. Hung it near the dining nook and the room suddenly feels more intimate, plus guests always ask where it’s from.
