Die Wanddekoration Ceramic Weave erforscht neue und alternative Wege der Nutzung von 3D-gedruckter Tontechnologie und erweitert die Grenzen des mit Terrakotta Möglichen. Die 3D-Drucktechnologie ermöglicht Ansätze für die Serienproduktion und schafft Objekte, die mit traditionellen Handaufbautechniken nicht möglich wären. Entworfen von Davide Ronco und Pablo Dorigo, ist die keramische Wandskulptur in einem matten Grünton glasiert, der mit Licht und Schatten spielt, und kann einzeln oder in Gruppen aufgehängt werden. Aufgrund der Beschaffenheit der 3D-gedruckten Konstruktion sind Unregelmäßigkeiten in Form, Zusammensetzung, Textur und Oberfläche Teil des Produktionsprozesses und kein Mangel des Objekts. Zum Aufhängen verwenden Sie Nägel mit einem kleineren Kopf, die leicht in die vielen Hohlräume auf der Rückseite passen. The layered weave pattern catches the light differently depending on the time of day, which I wasn't expecting from a clay piece. Hung it above the console table and it reads more like sculpture than wall decor. Print lines are visible up close but honestly that's part of the charm.

Wasn't sure how 3D-printed clay would look in person, but the terracotta weave has a nice weight to it and hangs flat against the wall. Only gripe is that the taupe reads a bit grayer in my hallway light than on screen, still happy with it though.

The 3D-printed terracotta gives it a texture you don't really see in regular clay pieces, and the taupe color blends perfectly with my beige walls. Only thing is it's lighter than expected, so I had to use a sturdier hook to keep it hanging straight.
