The recycled PET backing actually makes a difference, the kitchen echo is way less harsh now when we're all talking over dinner. The textile print is nicer than I expected too, feels more like real art than a speaker panel.
Hung this above the kitchen table mostly to soften the echo, and it actually works — conversations don't bounce off the walls the way they used to. The textile print is sharper in person than I expected, and knowing the panel behind it is recycled PET makes it feel less like a guilty purchase.
The recycled PET panel does double duty in my kitchen—it soaks up the echo from the tile floor while the animal print adds a playful focal point above the sink. Textile surface feels surprisingly premium to the touch, not at all like a cheap foam board.
