Sketchbook Abstract 05 - Acoustic Panel

I hung two of these in my kitchen and the echo when the dishwasher runs is basically gone. The abstract print looks way better than a plain foam tile, and the paper texture has a nice matte finish that doesn't glare under the cabinets.

The abstract print hides the panel's thickness well, so it reads more like art than acoustic gear. Dampened the echo from our tile floor noticeably, though the mounting hardware felt a bit flimsy.

The abstract pattern hides the fact that these are acoustic panels, which is exactly why I bought them for my kitchen. They do soften the echo from the tile floor, though the effect is subtler than I hoped.
